Realistic falling snow, a walk-in Human Snow Globe and holiday VR games, delivered and set up for your HOA, school or church across South Austin, Buda, Kyle, Dripping Springs and Bastrop.

South of the river, holiday events happen on HOA lawns in Buda and Kyle, at Dripping Springs church campuses with Hill Country views, and in school gyms from Del Valle to Bee Cave. Snow is the one thing none of those venues can produce on their own. Here is how South Austin planners build a winter wonderland event, what it costs, and what to confirm before you book.

Ready to compare options now? Start with South Austin snow machine rentals, the South Austin Human Snow Globe, and South Austin virtual reality rentals.

Make It Snow in South Austin

Turn on a fake snow machine at a Kyle amenity center, a Buda church lawn or a Dripping Springs school festival and watch the whole crowd move toward it. Snow machines run outdoors or indoors under cover, which keeps the plan intact when a Central Texas cold front arrives on event night.

What to know before you book a snow machine in South Austin:

• The snow is dry to the touch. It is a light foam effect mixed with water, not ice. It creates the look of falling snow but does not stick or accumulate.
• Safe for kids. The snow solution is used at daycares and elementary schools all the time.
• Indoor floors. Run for hours over a slick gym floor, the snow can leave the surface slippery. Tell the team your venue and they will plan placement with you.
• Pricing. South Austin snow machine rentals start at $199. The final price depends on the machine, hours, delivery distance and whether you add an attendant.

See the machines side by side on the South Austin snow machine rental page.

The Human Snow Globe: Your Holiday Photo Op

If you add one centerpiece this season, make it the Human Snow Globe. It is a walk-in inflatable snow globe with a holiday backdrop and soft prop snowballs. Families step inside, take the photo they will frame, then have a snowball fight on the way out. At Buda HOA lights nights and South Austin school festivals it becomes the line everyone joins.

• Size. 16.5 ft long, 10 ft wide and 12 ft tall, so plan a flat setup area with overhead clearance.
• Capacity. Comfortably fits a family of five at a time for photos.
• Entry. An airtight walk-in chamber lets guests enter and exit without the globe deflating between groups.
• Power. One standard 20 amp household outlet runs the blower.
• Pricing. South Austin Human Snow Globe rentals start at $699. Save when you bundle it with a snow machine.

Holiday VR Games Your Whole Crowd Can Play

Snow and photos pull in the families. Holiday VR keeps the older kids, teens and dads engaged for the rest of the night. Our Meta Quest headsets arrive charged, sanitized and loaded with a seasonal lineup, and a Freedom Fun coach runs every station so nobody on your committee has to learn the controllers.

Seasonal titles from the VR Game Guide, all rated All Ages:

• Walkabout Mini Golf, Holiday Course: a snowy, festive round for the whole family.
• Rec Room Winter Rooms: snowball-fight style mini games that rotate in all season.
• Beat Saber Holiday Playlist: festive tracks for the rhythm station.

Round out the lineup with All Ages crowd favorites like Beat Saber, Gorilla Tag, Job Simulator and Ocean Rift.

Best picks by event:

• Church or youth event: Walkabout Mini Golf, Rec Room, Nature Treks, Beat Saber
• HOA or festival: Beat Saber, Ocean Rift, Walkabout Mini Golf
• Family or kids' party: Beat Saber, Job Simulator, Gorilla Tag, Walkabout Mini Golf

Good to know: mature titles are locked out at kids' and family events. Add a live screen so the crowd can watch the player's view. Almost any Meta Quest title can be requested with about a week's notice. VR runs indoors or under cover, which makes it a natural fit for school gyms, church fellowship halls, HOA clubhouses and holiday parties at home. South Austin VR starts at $50, with the final price based on headsets, hours and hosting.

Browse every game by age rating in the VR Game Guide or download the VR Game Guide PDF for your planning committee. Then see local packages on the South Austin virtual reality rental page.

South Austin Winter Wonderland FAQs

Can the snow machine and snow globe be used indoors?
Yes. Both work indoors or outdoors. For indoor snow, tell us about the floor so we can plan placement and runtime.

Does the snow make a mess?
The snow is dry to the touch and does not accumulate like real snow. On slick indoor floors, long runtimes can make the surface slippery, so we plan for that with you.

Is it safe for kids?
Yes. The snow solution is safe for children and is used at daycares and elementary schools. The snow globe's snowballs are soft cotton.

What power do you need?
The snow globe runs on one standard 20 amp outlet. Each VR headset needs a standard outlet within 50 ft for charging and a clear 10 by 10 ft play space. We will confirm power for your snow machine package when you book.

How long does the snow last?
Runtime depends on the machine and package you choose. Tell the team your event length and they will match the right setup.

How many people fit in the globe?
A family of five fits comfortably for photos, and the walk-in chamber keeps groups moving.

Which VR games are kid-safe?
Every title in the VR Game Guide carries an age rating. Mature titles are locked out at kids' and family events, and the seasonal holiday titles are all rated All Ages.

Does VR need internet?
Only multiplayer games that connect across headsets need Wi-Fi or a hotspot. Tell us if you want head-to-head play and we will plan the connection.

Do you require a deposit?
A 30% deposit reserves your date. With free rescheduling, you can move your event without losing it.
