What is Gel Blaster Nexus Mobile?
It is a connected, professionally hosted mobile battle experience with smart blasters, illuminated tech vests, live scoring and two ways to play: Gel Blaster mode or projectile-free laser tag mode.
Can Gel Blaster Nexus be played indoors or outdoors?
Yes. Freedom Fun USA can design the play area for suitable indoor or outdoor spaces, including backyards, fields, gyms, conference rooms, parking lots and community event areas. We confirm the footprint and surface before your event.
Can you turn a gym or conference room into a mobile arena?
Yes. With a suitable footprint and venue approval, Freedom Fun USA can bring in the equipment, establish boundaries and cover, organize player flow and transform the room into a hosted mobile battle arena.
What are Gellets and what happens after they are fired?
Gellets are soft, water-based gel beads. They burst on impact, then dehydrate and disintegrate, so there are no darts or paintballs to collect. Freedom Fun USA also handles event cleanup.
Do Gellets stain or leave a mess?
Gel Blaster describes Gellets as non-toxic, non-irritating and designed to leave no stains or residue as they disintegrate and dehydrate. We still review sensitive indoor surfaces with the venue before play.
How does the five-foot safety sensor work?
NFC proximity sensors detect another player at close range and disable Gellet firing when players are within five feet of one another. This helps prevent point-blank shots while the Freedom Fun USA Party Coach continues to enforce every game and safety rule.
What safety equipment is provided?
Freedom Fun USA supplies the required protective equipment for the selected game mode, explains safe blaster handling, reviews boundaries and supervises play. Participants must follow the Party Coach's instructions throughout the event.
Does getting hit with a Gellet hurt?
Gellets are soft and squishy, but a hit can produce a quick minor sting. Required protective equipment, the five-foot firing cutoff and professionally supervised rules are used to keep play controlled.
Can we choose laser tag instead of Gel Blaster mode?
Yes. Nexus is a two-in-one system. Laser tag mode uses no projectiles and can be a good fit for groups or venues that prefer projectile-free play.
How do live scoring and player profiles work?
The connected blasters and tech vests record game activity so players can see match results, track performance and compete for the leaderboard. Available features may vary by the event configuration and game mode.
What kinds of events are a good fit?
Nexus works for birthdays, school and church events, HOAs, corporate team building, festivals, community celebrations and custom indoor or outdoor programs.
How many people can participate?
Freedom Fun USA plans the equipment count, match length and player rotations around your attendance. Large groups can move through short, organized rounds while smaller groups can enjoy more continuous play.
What happens if weather changes?
Freedom Fun USA offers free rescheduling, always. We can also discuss a suitable indoor backup location when your venue and event plan allow it.
