If you’re like most of us, there are some holidays situations that are as stressful as they are necessary.  So, here are a few tips to help you keep your calm and positive demeanor!


  1. Keep everyone as busy and engaged:  have indoor games ready in case the weather is uncooperative (Virtual Reality is a great choice – check out your options at; have outdoor games ready (perhaps preferable?) – how??  Call us at FREEDOM FUN USA (512-981-5557) and we will help you plan just what you need!
  2. Plan your day as much as possible; of course, chances are it won’t go to plan, but having a plan keeps you focused on what needs doing and helps you not to take anyone’s critique of everything too personally.
  3. Do whatever you can ahead of time; set the table, organize activities, set out some snacks, have a television (or giant movie screen out on the deck!) that is just for football! Where can you get a giant movie screen?!?  Check out!  You can see just how big the screen is and how much fun the “big kids” will have!
  4. Have some games like archery tag or laser tag for the kids and recruit some “big kids” to supervise – or hire one of FREEDOM FUN’s coaches to ensure the kids are active and safe.
  5. And if you need to, put in your earbuds, tune in to your favorite tunes, and mentally go to your happy place. You can even take a few moments to do a yoga pose or two to relieve stress; for inspiration and instruction, go to
